Meet the Bedford Team Behind Vance Gate Repair Bedford
We’re a Bedford-based crew that has repaired and installed gates across North Texas since 2014. Four technicians, one coordinator, and a shared habit of writing things down. What unites us is simple: we treat every gate like it protects a family, because it does. Our techs arrive in uniform, introduce themselves by name, and leave behind a photo record of every adjustment and part. No mystery work. No vague invoices.
Our People
Marcus Delgado, Lead Technician
Marcus has been with Vance Gate Repair Bedford for seven years, and he’s the guy we send when a gate has stumped someone else. He started in commercial access control, wiring card readers and keypads before moving to residential gate systems, so he reads a control board the way most people read a menu. Marcus holds certifications on LiftMaster and FAAC operators and handles our most complex motor replacements and welding repairs. When he’s not on a job, he’s rebuilding a 1972 Chevy C10 in his garage, one bracket at a time.
Sarah Lin, Senior Installer
Sarah has installed over 400 gates in the Bedford, Hurst, and Euless area since joining the team five years ago. She specializes in cantilever slide gates and swing gate geometry, the kind of work where being off by a half-inch at the post means a gate that binds six months later. Sarah is our BFT and Viking brand lead and trains every new tech on concrete curing times and hinge alignment. She and her husband keep a vegetable garden that somehow survives Texas summers, and she’ll talk tomatoes if you ask.
Devon Carter, Service Coordinator
Devon is the voice you hear when you call (817) 572-8590 at any hour. He’s been answering the phones at Vance Gate Repair Bedford since 2019 and keeps the day’s schedule moving without ever putting a caller on hold long enough to get comfortable. Devon tracks part availability across nine gate-automation brands and confirms each technician’s route so when we say we’ll be there, we mean it. He’s a spreadsheet person, which we say with admiration. On weekends, Devon coaches his daughter’s soccer team and loses every game with enthusiasm.
Anthony Ruiz, Apprentice Technician
Anthony joined us in 2023 after two years of welding work, and he’s the one hauling the heavy swing arms and learning why we torque bolts the way we do. He shadows Marcus on motor diagnostics and is already competent on single-arm opener installs. Anthony is the reason our newer Gate openers on Ghost Controls and Mighty Mule systems get extra attention. He’s also the reason the truck is always organized, a habit we wish more people had before they touched a gate panel.
One Standard, Every Job

Every member of the Bedford crew works under the same rules Adrian Vance set down when he started this company. Written price before work begins, handed to the customer in person, no exceptions. A documented photo record on every visit: what we found, what we set, what we replaced, left with the homeowner and filed in the job record. And the 365-Day Done Right Promise: one full year for us to make any repair right at no additional charge. That standard does not shift depending on which technician shows up. Marcus, Sarah, Anthony, or any of us, you get the same paperwork, the same precision, and the same willingness to stand behind the work. That is the whole point of having one standard.
